Identifying a triangular Murano
« on: July 22, 2017, 08:47:43 AM »
I'd really like to identify this triangular label.  With a magnifying glass I can read the word MURANO across the bottom (the M is missing) but I would like to find the maker's name.  Can anyone help please?

PUZZLE NOW SOLVED.

I've since discovered the label is by Ferro & Lazzarini from the mid 1950s.  I had seen a later label that shows their name with the word MURANO above it, but this one does not have their name.  It has the word GLASS on the left hand edge, the word MURANO across the bottom and there is an unidentified emblem (very small) on the right hand side.

Welcome to the Glass Message Board Nono.

An image of a Ferro & Lazzarini label here:

A photo of the whole item would be useful for reference.

Here's a photo of the whole item.  I'm also attaching a legible photo of the label on a different item.
