I did notice the sworls, one of the other reasons I went for Phoenician.
I suspect your very nice piece is rather later. I have, in general, seen much more Phoenician that is less like Mdina than is. So I'd suspect they developed their own styles fairly rapidly.
It was the sophisticateion of the sworls helped nudge me.
I'm really not at all sure.That is just my best guess. I might be completely wrong.
Sworls have been used in places other than by the Ysarts - IoWSG adopted them for their Mosaic stuff.
Baxter Park? I did say it looked very familar and kind of homey! I live beside Balgay, but I lived beside Baxter Park before I moved here.
