Hi all,
I picked up this beautiful vase today, and have spend a good couple hours trying to make out the name with no luck.  Hopefully someone on here can recognize the signature.
All the best
-Johnathon

Wow, youre right.  That is the same signature.  Oh man, that is such a shame if this goes unresolved.  I think the first name is Gino or Dino. And the capitals are so stylized that I would think this glassmaker was of substance.  Still hoping someone can recognize it, in my view its so beautiful it deserves to be attributed.  Thanks for helping out, a great and tremendous thank you for your scope of these posts.

Dino Diaconescu? ... not that I've ever heard of him.

A bit about him, there are a lot of French references.

Absolutely spot on, fantastic sleuthing Anne, I did not consider the first and last letters a D. Lots of examples of his work can be found with the right name, even some videos with him making glass.

Anne,

Thank you so much for coming through.  I didnt want this board to think I had a lack of appreciation.  On the contrary, I am immensely appreciative.  Having that knowledge and scope is amazing, and deserving of honor in my opinion.  Anne, I am a seller on ebay, and if you search this item number: 222623446398 you will find the gorgeous vase that you helped identify.  It is my hope that you will message me on ebay, and please confirm that it was you by acknowledging on this board.  I would like for you to hit that watch button on this item and on the day of its sale, whatever it fetches I would like to give a small reward for your assistance.  I hope my offer does not come off as offensive.  I just believe the time and effort you have put in to obtain that knowledge should be acknowledged as well as rewarded.  I cant thank you enough, and for everyone who attempted to help, thank you so much.
Wishing you all the best
-Johnathon

Hello Jonathan,

Why just a small reward?  ;D

Seriously, you're being very generous with your offer but it's not necessary, nor do I find it offensive,  I  only spotted it on the net before somebody else did by searching for Dino D vase, it's as simple as that.

Like I said, I've never heard of the name before, so any message you might receive through Ebay regarding your offer, please do realize that it's not me and good luck.
