Topic: Beranek?

I've been told that this item is Beranek. Can anybody help me by confirming it?

I can't I'm afraid, but I'm really interested in Beranek, it has found it's way into my radar ( I found some really fabulous "Tropical Flowers" in TKMaxx years ago and fell in love with them, it took me three trips into town and back, on the bus, to buy them all and get them home) so I'm "registering my interest" and waiting to hear what will happen.
It's a really interesting piece.

Several years later, I went to the exhibition of Dan Klein's collection which he donated to Edinburgh Museum, and there were a load of Beranek Tropical Flowers on show.
So Beranek has Dan Klein's approval.

I'm not an expert, but as far as I've noticed, most Beranek - and on the whole, most Czech pieces of the mid 20th century - have got much more flowing and organic lines: take a look here - these are fotos from the collection of another forum member, michael - quite different from your piece, I'd say.

Berankek does produce stuff that is very different to others too, though.

Do you  mean the splatter vase?
As far as I can see from the picture - correct me if I'm mistaken - the rim looks very smooth and polished. And though I wouldn't describe the vase as "organic or flowing", I could image it feels quite satiny when you touch it. In contrast, take a look at the vase in the original post: It kinda looks the rim is cut and might feel somewhat unpolished, rough. Anyways, this might just be the angle of the picture and, as I've said, I'm no expert

I'm no expert either, just very curious to see what might come up.
My Spatter vase has a fire polished rim, and the surface is not satinated - it's very rough, you can feel the edges of the blobs on the surface and there are pits where bubbles have formed and burst.
