Moser Karlsbad large cut glass bowl maybe?.

Great ebay buy i thought very similar to a link M put on after i posted another piece a while ago.

Some base wear and very heavy, it measures 8 inches in height, 6 3/4 inches across the rim and 4 inches across the base.

Nothing similar in either Moser book. The cutting looks too fussy, maybe ABC?

Yes i can see what you mean Christine, i have four pieces of what i think is American cut glass the fourth was on the kitchen side this morning but the ghost in our new house has moved it again as with most pieces of glass that venture further than the glass room these days, i might put it on a facebook site i joined recently see if anyone knows, i think it's gold leaf rather than gilding?.
