Tearing My Hair Out
« on: October 14, 2017, 04:44:43 PM »
Hi Folks
I bought this in a mjunk shop when on holiday in the UK, the glass and the shape & its use baffled me so i thought it woudl make a nice research project. 2 weeks later Im no further forward.  At first glance the quality of the glass appears to be nothign more than bottle glass and yet the treatment it has been given seems worthy of something better.

Stood upright I wondered if it was some form of sculpture representing a bum and thighs, but it doesnt feel totally stable when stood on its end.
It lays flat and stable when laid indent down.. some form of weird peanut dispencer lol ??

I did find a similar type of finish on the bottom half of  bottle vase by Kosta Boda (photo not  included) but that is as close as i have come.

Any thoughts, ideas information or suggestions i throw it in the bin woudl be appreciated

Many thanks
