Topic: CENEDESE ( Murano ) Art Glass Bowl with LABEL

Hi:
I just bought this for myself for a Birthday gift to myself ( on the 8th ) and I just got today.  It is a murano CENEDESE Art glass bowl that is BIG AND HEAVY.  It weighs almost 16 pounds.  The size is:

 13 inches long
~ About 7 inches wide at widest point
~ About 6.25 inches tall
~ and again, about 7.25 Kg or about 16 pounds

It does have the older Cenedese Label on it...and I did buy it from the orginal owner that bought it in the early 1960's at a Hudson Bay Store in Canada.  I never knew that Hudson Bay Store in Canada sold, Murano - so an interesting fact.  Again very SOLID piece...LOL

Thank you Lustrousstone for the wonderful comment.  I have not tested it as my light went Kerpunk....LOL. 

I have been looking around for something similar and the ontly thing I found similar so far this this piece at Ripley Auctions.  It also has a pedestal base like mine.  See SEE HERE and here is a closer pic of it too See HERE, CLICK

...Plus mine still has the Cenedese label remnants to it

Those links above show the exact same raised grooved base as mine.  Not finding much others like that..

So unusual Rose a great find and a lovely piece!

My own efforts have been a total disaster so I am pleased someone is buying great pieces.
