One of the most hardest signatures to picture!!
There are two on the base as well as a date. The first one looks to have "jeff" in it.
Can't help further than that but maybe you can help me

  Could you try rubbing some talc over the marks to bring them up for the camera?
I really can't see anything much to even try to work anything out.

I've 'mucked' about with the image and it looks a bit like 'Sellers' I'll post the altered image if you don't mind ?

It was identified by a "glasspert" friend of mine!
Jeff Walker Robin Smith apparently
