Topic: 2 small honeycomb pattern glass vases 1 cased

Hi,
Please could you advise me, if possible, of the likely makers of the 2 similar honeycomb pattern vases in the included photo please. Both vases belong to a colleague and not myself.
Having consulted with a very knowledgeable friend I was told that both vases were probably made at Teign Valley Glass which I agreed was quite likely .
However, my colleague has asked me if I could dig a bit deeper as he has owned many varieties of TVG in the past and wasn't convinced.
The tallest cased opaque vase measures around 5" tall. There is a deep smooth inverted pontil area. The shorter clear vase has a broken pontil.
If anyone on this excellent site can provide any alternative suggestion I would appreciate it. Perhaps they were made by different manufactures.

Hi Bryn  -  not my area so regret unable to help, but in the absence of anyone offering conclusive id for the maker you suggest, then how about contacting Teign Valley thenselves  -  believe they are still making glass.

Hi Paul,
Good idea. I'll give it a few days here and if nothing turns up I'll give them a call. The only vase I could find with a similar design was an early Welz piece but these 2 seem to be 21st Century.

good idea  -  the left hand pink example looks to be giving a nod (albeit unconvincingly) in the direction of the C19 satin air trap design.

A deep smooth inverted pontil mark is typical for TVG
