Topic: Is it English Carnival Glass. ID = Imperial, USA, Ripple pattern

I have two 8" marigold vases that my 98 year old Mother-in law remembers on her mother's sideboard pre 1930 in Newcastle England.  There are no marks on the bottom of either.  Is it likely that these are English or were these shipped from from the USA that early?

Hi - welcome to the GMB.              Marigold is the one where the colour is over clear glass (I know that because Lustrousstone told me) - possibly the most common of the various appearances of carnival glass - but I'd imagine people here will want to see pix of your glass to help before making any sort of comment.
Please post a couple of pix if possible, and we have guidance on the Board to help with resizing etc.  -  the most common problems with posting pictures is foregetting to make them smaller for this forum - the first dimension needs to be maximum of 700.

Assume you've tried David Doty's site to see if that helps?

I have close to 50 pieces such as a Northwood jug and glass set, several bowls of various patterns and colours, and a 12" ice white bowl and a number of novelty items like a hatpin holder.  I tend to like the unusual patterns and colours.  When I tried to post the pics, I selected Choose File, and picked the file on my computer.  It appeared that it accepted the two files I selected, what did I do wrong?
Carolyn, is there a way for us to communicate directly sicne we both live in Calgary?

They are both from the USA. A lot of US carnival glass was exported to the UK
