Help ID. Vera Liskova?
« on: March 14, 2018, 09:50:35 AM »
Please help me. I found this glass at antique store. I don't know what it is, but I like it a lot. There are no markings on it. Glass rather thin. It reminds me a bit of Vera Liskova glass, but I don't know if I'm right. Any ideas please. Many thanks for any replies and sorry - my English is not so good.

Hello Ilona  -  apologies that I'm unable to help with your glass, but just wanted to say please don't worry that your English 'is not so good' - in fact it's more than o.k.    .....................   we have British people on the GMB who are often unable to write English as good as yours.               Fingers crossed that someone is able to help with your request. :)

Your piece has an almost 'laboratory' appearance - utilitarian but at the same time artistic  ..............  ordinarily the shape of your glass might suggest it was made to be used as a carafe or decanter - perhaps it was - though it may be decorative only, and not intended for use.

P.S.   and welcome to the GMB by the way :)
