Molineaux and Webb 1866 sugar?
« on: May 17, 2018, 08:33:17 PM »
Would be grateful if anyone recognised this piece. It’s aroud 11cm high, no lozenge or marks but looks similar to some items on the Manchester glass history website items for Molineaux and Webb around 1866. The base,  stem, top and beading same as design Rd 194616.
Thanks Mike

It's not Molineaux Webb. Wandering round antique places, I have seen a few like this one - combo of pattern, frosting etc - which makes me think they're from the same manufacturer but who is it? As I've seen a few I'm tempted to go for a larger manufacturer... maybe Sowerby? We need an unidentified photo bucket where we can group by manufacturer style...

I couldn't see for looking but found a matching creamer with Henry Greener trade mark at www.englisgpressedglass.com.
I think this is fairly uncommon as I've never come across this pattern before.
