Topic: Bright Green Pressed Glass Milk Jug 1880's? ID = Portieux

Does anyone know who made this little jug?
I wouldn't even know what colour to call it? Does it even have a specific name?
It's not jadeite, nor slag/marbled? It is not UV reactive.
There are no markings, nor numbers.
I am guessing at around the mid to late 1880's purely based on how the glass "feels", so forgive me is I am way out.
I have no idea really, as this type of glass is way outside my comfort zone

With your tip, I have now found a piece in the same colour,similar pattern, listed as being in the Sowerby 1882 in Opal Green.
Can't find my jug, but all the pages won't load for me.

Always thought this design was Portieux, there are currently a couple on ebay described as such.

Sowerby certainly produced glassware in a similar (though not necessarily identical) pale green opalescent non-uranium glass from their designs of the late 1870s, but Della's creamer (with that quite distinctive handle) does not appear in any of the extant early Sowerby pattern books.

Could quite easily be continental or even American glassware.

Does anyone have an idea as to date, or an idea where I can search?
 
I think I can answer my own question:  Louis XV pattern 7349 shown in the 1933 catalogue from the Portieux factory.
