
Have you tried the talcum powder trick over the marks to bring them up for photgraphy? Just rub a little over the marks with your thumb.
If you don't have talc, flour would do, but it can be a bit messier.
It seems odd that one would be numbered 22 out of 500 if there were not the 21 made before that, but large runs frequently do not get completed. I don't know if that is the case for Selkirk, I know it is for IoWSG and Caithness.
But it might be that the first 21 were not super magnums.
It's rather a lovely design.
