Topic: Filigrana vase with bubble canes?

A pair of these arrived this morning. I was bidding on some Georgian glasses but unfortunately missed out...on the rebound I somewhat impulsively bought these. I think they were made by the filigrana technique using canes with bubbles equispaced within the cane (instead of colour). Whilst waiting for delivery I haven’t been able to find any other examples. Any information on origins and age would be appreciated, thanks.

The pontil scar has been ground and polished and there is some wear on the base. 4.5 inches tall.

Looks like Stevens and Williams Jewel to me

It does doesn't it but the base finish is different and the bubbles are wider

Thanks for the info everyone - now I know what to look for it’s a lot easier searching. I’ve only got a few reference books on glass but found the technique used described in British Glass 1800-1914 (...not filigrana!). It says most items with vertical rows of air bubbles are engraved with the registry number on the base. As it says ‘most’ and not ‘all’ then I don’t suppose that’s a problem.

Still not sure yours are S&W's and without disagreeing with Charles H. I have yet to see one that doesn't have a reg' mark.

Given the colour shading to clear I would consider Harrach as well.

...so to summarise, it may or may not be Stevens and Williams 
I see on the antiquecolouredglass page they also have a S&W’s jewel vase similar to the one in Keith’s photo. In the description of that vase they mention the reg. no. but it’s not mentioned for the pair wasted of vases, so I might infer that their vases aren’t marked either...also must be expensive as there are no prices!
