This vase is 14.25" high x 4" square x 5.75" in diameter at the top. The bottom is ground and there is no sign of a pontil. It has clear, blue and white glass layers. No markings. There is a small oval near the bottom on two opposing sides, but I don't think it is a maker's mark, maybe just a byproduct of the process used to make it. The color changes gradually from dark blue at the bottom to light blue at the top. I've already eliminated Holmegaard. Might be Italian (Empoli?) or Chinese. Any help in identifying a maker appreciated.
