Engraved Czech vase - but which glassworks?
« on: March 01, 2019, 03:59:06 PM »
I have identified this piece from GLR-1957-11-2 as having an engraving designed by Jindrich Tockstein, but the colour of the glass has me beaten as to which manufacturer it's from.  I haven't yet seen ZBS glass this pale, it's really an icy pale blue colour.  Is it ZBS? Or another? And whose design is the vase?

I have another similarly engraved taller vase (with two fish), in citrine, with the Zemek type diminishing base swirls and the same pond weed design, but interestingly on this blue vase the weed on the left side is engraved on the back of the vase, not the front.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks
