Not the right colours for Mdina. The red is out of place, the blue is the wrong shade.
And the lustre isn't right, it's too shiney.

It is a nice one. The colours remind me a little of Karl Weidmann's work, but I am not suggesting for one moment that it could be, especially not with that very shiney lustre. (or the "ropey" trail which is reminiscent of some Mdina)
I tend to associate that very shiney lustre with Boheman glass, although this might be Japanese too.
It could come and live in my bathroom.  ;)

I wouldn’t rule out Murano completely, I had a seal made by Vetro Eseguito with the same lustre finish and that rear fin looks remarkably similar to the ears on V Nason elephants. I wouldn't mind it in my bathroom either! ;D

Penelope re Vetro Eseguito

https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/152009-murano-labels

" ..... The last, is probably the most confusing as much of it is written in Italian. It reads "Vetro Eseguito Secondo La Tecnica Dei Maestri Di Murano", which translates to "glass was made according to the technique of the masters of Murano". You have to admit though, it looks awfully fancy. Obviously, all of these are meant to deceive. Unfortunately, it's not enough for us to be able to identify the glass alone, as there are many good quality pieces coming out of Asia, Venezuela etc. ..... "

Don't ask me about Murano.  ;D
It's such a big and complicated field, I ran away without even peeking at it.  :-[

Is that the outline of a square sticker in the 3rd picture of the base?
