Topic: Murano/Mdina glass fish?

Hi,this fish is 9" tall fairly dense with a slight lustre,it seems to have genuine wear to the base.This isn't my area really so any help gratefully received,thanks.

Not the right colours for Mdina. The red is out of place, the blue is the wrong shade.
And the lustre isn't right, it's too shiney.

Maybe not having a quick look at Great Barrier Reef of glass fish!,I'm moving on.Thanks for the replies.

It is a nice one. The colours remind me a little of Karl Weidmann's work, but I am not suggesting for one moment that it could be, especially not with that very shiney lustre. (or the "ropey" trail which is reminiscent of some Mdina)
I tend to associate that very shiney lustre with Boheman glass, although this might be Japanese too.
It could come and live in my bathroom.

I wouldn’t rule out Murano completely, I had a seal made by Vetro Eseguito with the same lustre finish and that rear fin looks remarkably similar to the ears on V Nason elephants. I wouldn't mind it in my bathroom either!

Don't ask me about Murano. 
It's such a big and complicated field, I ran away without even peeking at it.
