Murano glass dish?
« on: April 10, 2019, 03:12:49 AM »
Hello, I have recently purchases what might be a Murano glass dish.  It is etched in the bottom "Murano"  Any one know if this is authentic, value and the maker?

Thanks much

Welcome to the board. A picture of the base and the signature would be good but I suspect the signature is fake and that what you actually have is a piece of Czech glass from the Mstisov glass works and from the Rhapsody range designed by Frantisek Zemek in the the late 1950s. I'm sure someone else will confirm. Dimensions would be helpful too

Christine is spot on, a Rhapsody bowl by Frantisek Zemek, lots more examples here: https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,25231.0.html
