so your glass has a cut, polished and well bevelled rim, is quite thick glass and has a beautifully polished flat base?

Then I think look at Czechoslovakia as first port of call.  Did Egermann make pieces like this/still make pieces like this?

There are no cuts, it is polished, painted with enamel and finished with glass or porcelain flowers

I would not know the manufacterer and perhaps I'm completely wrong, but at a first guess Italy comes to mind too, in an older style but dating from the 50's/60's.

Interesting vase here with an Egermann label - similar type to the two I linked to with Italian labels:

https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/226032-egermann-czech-bohemian-gold-high-enamel

The only thing they have in common with the original piece is the high raised enamel flowers, but they do look quite thick glass as well.

And I agree with Samantta that the original piece does look a bit older than those I am linking to.

another Egermann labelled piece here with scrolls and flowers on:

https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Egermann-Czech-Bohemian-Glass-Art-Cobalt-Blue-Crystal-And-Gold-Bowl-High-Enamel-/223091630992?hash=item33f14c2390

So I'm thinking it might be Egermann but older than all these seemingly mass produced gilded enamel pieces?  or a more expensive range perhaps?

hhm, see this piece for a piece that is heavily gilded (like the ones I linked to) but has a dropping spray of many flowers in raised enamel (like the original piece) - also Egermann

https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/czech-bohemian-egermann-24kt-gold-414099740

Egermann seem to use patterns and ideas for many many years, re-worked and redesigned but similar ideas.

for white he is on Egerman. He made gold in reds, he did not make yellow in a transparent glass :(

this is Egerman from around 1850, inkwell, praevipost :D
