Topic: Murano ewer?

I think this maybe a mid century uranium glass from murano,if it is my question is did a lot of them do this style or can it be pinned down to a specific maker ,thanks.

Does it glow bright green under a UV light, because it doesn't look like uranium glass to me?

Well if it doesn't to you that's not a good sign!,haven't tested it yet as my batteries have run out.In the real it does have greenish milky hues here and there,could be dust and the casing?,I'll let you know.

Possibly just a 'forato' vase instead of a jug/ewer? handle looks awkward/too small ?

Possible,although it does have a purposeful looking groove running under the potential spout.

Is the hole hand-formed? Are there seams inside it?

Seems to be worked by hand.

I think your right Christine,probably a magnesium green when tested.

It's not terribly bright, is it?
Christine taught me to use the "6 foot test". If it still glows when the UV source is 6 feet away, it's not manganese and dust.
