I have spent a long time looking for a glass maker starting with E&C......before the penny dropped that the mark wasn't complete.  So fairly pleased to discover it is a Baccarat piece.

Not an area I have much knowledge of, so I am hoping someone may know what era this was made in.  I have seen one attributed to 1940s, but it struck me as a fairly contemporary design..... at least 1960s.

Very hard to photograph the mark as it is very faint and right up to the edge.

Many thanks

50's/60's I would think. Daum started a trend in France  with this type of glass in the  late 40's and a lot of companies followed. I need to see if something's mentioned in some books.
