Thanks for the advice. I have taken a look but am uncertain what I am looking at tbh. I think I need to take some clearer photos. I will post later today.

To show the pattern clearly try placing a black or very dark piece of paper (or cloth) in the bowl such that only the pattern on one side is seen.
