Avondale(?) cased, spatter vase
« on: July 05, 2019, 12:03:29 PM »
Another attempt to add a piece of Welsh glass to the collection.....even if it is only for a short while.

Approx 14cm high, white interior, clear-cased.  I thought maybe Avondale because the spatter is fairly "fine".  However, found this labeled example on ebay, and the base is completely different.

It has a bit of age to it, very dirty inside and needed an overnight soak in harpic to clean it.  Base has a fair amount of wear.  I'm getting a 40s/50s vibe from it.
