Agree about Polish glass.  I found this item recently in a charity shop in Yorkshire for £5.  It's a piece of Polish pressed glass designed by Jan Sylwester Drost in 1975 and produced by Zabkowice - part of the 'Asteroid' range.  In my opinion a really good piece

I do like that, much better than the similar sort of thing with coloured blobs. It's a lovely shape.
