It's a pattern called Ming, but an unusual and possibly early version, given it is upright stripes.
The marks on the base were made by Marie, Boffo's niece who worked in the packaging department and made some of the "artist marks" on pieces deemed to be good enough to require one.
It's slightly bigger than the more normal exectution of this cylinder shape, but again, possibly because it is an early piece.
Does it have a round pontil mark on the base? I can't really make out how it was finished off from that very direct photograph.
