I read about a piece being "cased", sort of like adding a clear coat after painting something
will clear casing be the most common or are other colours used often as well?
one of my favourite lighting pieces, I believe is clear cased, usually these large Murano type globes with the swirls are relatively thin but this piece has at least triple the thickness of the average globe
the base seems to be white, then there was a red swirl added on top and then it might have been clear cased?
