Mystery Antique Blue Faceted Objects?
« on: October 13, 2019, 04:11:23 PM »
Hi,

Anyone seen these before and know what they were used for ? Both are light blue facet cut with star cut bases and 7.5 cm long / 4.5 cm wide / 2.5 cm high

Thank You!

Adam

Thanks for the replies guys but I ruled out salts as they are far too small for those I think, I've never seen salts as small as these but possibly some other kind of seasoning , maybe?  ???

They're a fine size for a salt.
Bigger than the Stumpf, Touvier and Violette one I use. ;)
Just not a "master salt", which is what I think the big ones you're thinking about are.

My salts are even smaller, I own a couple, they are all maximum 3 cm in diameter and 1,5-2 cm high.

this is even to big for caviar.
