Hmm, actually that sticker might have been put on by the antique store it came from, for their own inventory control.  I still like this vase, though... I just don't want to give my mum some cheap knockoff for xmas.  You can buy red bottles at the dollar store now (yes, for $1).  They look like they're coated, not colored in the mass, but I soaked one in my oxalic acid cleaning solution for  a couple weeks and the surface emerged unscathed.  They're useful for yard art/outdoor markers...
