Skrdlovice?
« on: November 22, 2019, 12:15:05 PM »
Everything about this ashtray/bowl says Skrdlovice but I am struggling to confirm this can anyone help please ?

The ashtray is a very unusual shape, asymetric with a long 'tongue' to one side. Blue amber colour. There are four 'fins on the underside which spiral down to a square base. Size 25 x 11 cm at the top, 11 x 9 cm at the base and 9.5 cm tall.

A lovely piece of glass but still a slight mystery.

Thank you.

This pattern is widely attributed to the Harrachov factory with a pattern number 5/3576.  A search will reveal lots of eBay/Etsy examples - but I can't find a pattern book, catalogue or anything similar.

Thank you very much for your response - fantastic. I was looking in completely the wrong place. The detective work involved with Czech glass is very frustrating but rewarding when you get a result.
