What's the Duck - Murano Formia?
« on: December 15, 2019, 05:31:05 PM »
15cm beak to tail, 11cm tall, weighs 564g.  The Murano zoo has a penguin with a similar effect of light and dark green - described as "green colour wash" - with Formia label.

Other birds in the Formia section have similar wings/tail.  I also found a pink one which appeared to be the same model, but the link from the image didn't take me to the original listing, so I do not l know if it was a labelled piece.

The beak is nicely shaped, but I have reservation about the eyes.  They have what appears to be a small applied pieces of green glass, and I am unsure if this is "right" for Formia pieces.

Does anyone have any piece for comparison?

Apologies for the layer of grime...….I didn't realise how grubby he was until I saw the photographs.  Have now given him a bath.

Thank you for looking.
