Tall waisted vase ID
« on: January 05, 2020, 09:26:45 PM »
Hi All, I'm trying to ID this vase which I believe to be Scandinavian. I'm aware that at least Riihimaki and Glasbruk produced these but the base on mine is different to their typical finish. Any help is much appreciated. The vase is actually bluer than the picture suggests, height is 39cm.

Somewhere I have a Danish one that is either Georg Jensen or Holmegaard and it has a rubber stopper.

Thanks Ross. A stopper then would suggest a decanter rather than a vase.

I think so Mark.  A vase would have a flat top rather  than the distinct slant.
