thanks - are you suggesting lead in view of the 'ring' when flicked? You're correct insofar as pressed glass doesn't usually have any noticeable lead content, but my opinion would be that it's safer to make your decision based on …………......…..
one..................…. the sharpness of the decoration - cut glass being fairly sharp to the touch whereas moulded pieces are usually quite smooth.
two ……………………. using a small lens look into the mitres (the recesses of the cutting), and you should be able to see some remains of the grinding marks which show as faint straight lines where the acid, or polishing, didn't remove all of the rough grinding marks.
Your vase looks to have some bevelling around the top rim, plus the rim itself will likely be ground/polished flat - this is commonplace on cut glass, but not on pressed pieces.
