I got curious about this one.....how hard can it be when we've actually got a signature??
So far I have a
Lorenzo Passi whose work is quite sculptural, combines glass and metal and, from his picture, he doesn't look old enough to have been making things in 1974.
Then
Lorenzo Glass paperweight, retailed by Dynasty Gallery in USA and made in China - label but not signed.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/223367858719Ferro Lorenzo - pieces labelled "Vetro Artistico Murano" with "FL" in the centre, but not signed. Worth knowing about for their animals.
http://www.ferrolorenzomurano.com/en/vetro.php?IDcat=12Lorenzo Tartari signs pieces "Marty Murano".
Angelo Lorenzo makes some really bold, unusual pieces......I don't know what most of them are for, but I do like his work.
Not sure if they are signed though

I'm stumped. No "Lorenzo the Dwarf" or "Lorenzo the Gnome".....worth checking in case either of those were from some sort of fantasy series, or Disney character.
A search of the GMB only brought up Lorenzo Vigier (book reference) and Lorenzo Radi. Very surprised there weren't more Lorenzo's, given we see a lot of Italian glass on the board.
Great fun though, and I learnt a lot as well.
Maybe Janson's right and there is somebody randomly signing "Lorenzo" on pieces of glass!
