;D It looks kind of familiar. You need one of the companies that used that particular shade of "rosy golden" amber. Webb and Stuart are a couple I can think of.
I suspect I suspect something Webby. (or S&W-y) Not really my area or age. :-[

I was thinking Stourbridge aswell, but I'm not sure about the quilted look and I think some of the continental glass firms may have done something like it?.It's has a kind of subtle amberina look to it so I'm starting to think it could be late Victorian?

Not amberina - it's just the thickness of the glass.  :)
It is a very particular and not-normal-amber colour though.

I have a different shaped vase and a set of fruit dishes in the same sort of colour, which I've not managed to ID yet, but I suspect one of the Stourbridge makers.

Thanks everyone,,it's looking like Stourbridge with a interesting twist on the standard Amber colour, the only thing to add is it's pretty thick in the base making it fairly heavy.

The base on my vase is heavy too - I don't think I've taken a photo of it yet.  Will do that tomorrow when the light is better. It was suggested that my bowls might be Webb but no evidence yet.

I suspect Webb too. It looks like their 1906 pineapple mould. I don't think they're as early as Victorian just from the style. The oversize pontil mark is often a Webb thing too. Mine is uranium glass http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=1476
