I am not sure about weights like these.

Could be Murano but perhaps actually made in China and "finished in Murano" then sold via Murano / Italian outlets. I hesitate to think this example was from a "top name".

Hey there - judging by the pedegree of the collection and the other pieces in there I'd be surprised. The collection had signed Baccarat, Venini, Saint Louis, Clichy and 19th century pieces in it. But most importantly (refering to the 2nd thread here) I've never seen Uranium chinese paperweights.

This weight (with large bubble in the centre and lots of floating canes) is definitely Murano and the canes indicate the Fratelli Toso factory. This is a late 20th century example.

Thanks ever so much! This would fit perfectly with the rest of the collection - every single paperweight has been by another company so far.
