2 lidded pots and a tiny ring holder off uranium glass
« on: May 09, 2020, 07:39:46 PM »
I just bought those pots and ring holder and was quite surprised by the decoration of the pots. Couldn't find in the catalogues any information about the model nor the maker. Anyone who has an idea...??
The ring holder is the tiniest one of my collection : diameter 5,5 cm ( 2,17 inch). This one is "frosted. I  have one in clear green glass"too.

A bit of a long shot but it might give you a starting point.

I saw a large bowl (fruit bowl size) with the interlocking triangles pattern on ebay back in the winter.  What drew my attention was that it had the same alternating stippled panels around the rim.  The same zig-zag change of level with the triangle pattern below.

Imagine my vase without the foot a non-textured lower panel with the triangles pattern, the top cut off an inch or two above the zig-zag and six to eight inches in diameter.

The bowl wasn't identified and I've never I.D-ed my vase.

If anyone recognises the vase it might give a clue to your pots??

Thanks for your reaction. Who knows..... where finally we will find the answer..  I add another more detailled photo of the decoration.  It should look like being cut glass but of course it is pressed glass in this case.

Ahhh! Eugénie, I was about to ask you if you knew anything about my wee ringholder and then you posted one in green that looks very like it! :)

Mine is also 5.5cm in diameter, it's 6cm tall, and has no markings at all.

Given the size of it, and of your pots with it, I wonder if this was a "toy" set for a girl?

I haven't seen the pattern on your pots anywhere else before either.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Thanks for the close-up of the decoration.

The bowl I referred to didn't have any lines in the triangles and in close-up I can see the stippling is also different, so nothing like my vase.

Neither do I know if the lines of dots decoration was used by other manufacturers but it does look like the decoration on some of the Davidson 1907 bowls.

Indeed, "Davidson 1907"...…  I looked it up on internet.  Could be a trace….!
