Glasses etched with lion, rose and Initials C R

I am trying to identify what this etched on glasses means.  We have 6 glasses and think they may relate to grandparents, names of Crawford and Caldecourt, or something to do with Scotland!

I don't know if this will help but I think it's actually a wolf's head, maybe a horned one, apparently very common in English heraldry.
