Topic: folded rim vase

Hi
This is really nice quality and I would think it has some age. The rim is folded over with a polished pontil height approx 220mm something I have not come across before. Any help would be appreciated.

Very nice.  Made by Dartington and designed by Frank Thrower in 1968, I think they stopped using colour after about three years so they were not made for all that long. FT77, described as a tall cylinder vase with collar in Dartington Glass the First Twenty Years by Linda & Stuart Smithson, page 44. Made in two sizes yours is the smaller, the larger would be around 250mm.

Thank you it is lovely, nice to know who made it. Can you tell me if it's rare, even with the info you have given I still can't find one. I don't have the reference book to see a picture.

Not sure something made over three years can be described as rare, a much over used adjective. Not that easy to find though!
