It was brought on the I.O.W. About 20 Years ago
12 1/2” tall & looks like Alum Bay ?

I'm afraid your photos do not blow up enough to be able to see the textures in the glass terribly well.
What worries me about this egg is that the yellowy bits on it look exactly like the texture produced on a lot of Makora, contemporary Polish glass. But the pad it is sitting on isn't something I've seen in Makora. And it doesn't tend to be signed - but marks can be added later.
I don't think i've ever seen Alum Bay marked as Alum Bay in writing either. I've seen Paper labels aplenty.

That's the bit that looks like this - the last image shown in that ebay link.
That's the bit that worries me. It doesn't look anything like any Alum Bay I've ever seen. Sometimes sellers are not terribly accurate and a bit over hopeful. I'm not doubting anything you say.  :) ;)
