Uncommon Henry Greener Jug
« on: September 08, 2020, 04:45:08 PM »
I’m hoping someone may recognise this Greener jug On eBay as I cannot make out the lozenge and cannot see a similar pattern in the gallery. Do you know the registration number. Thanks

It's Henry Greener RD 383640, 19 July 1882 - P6, Mike.

I've only seen the creamer once before, and so recently that it's not on the GMB RD database yet. It was in white opaque glass - see photos below. The lozenge was indistinct on this too.

Fred.

Thanks Fred,
Funnily enough I just bought the white One for dad,it’s just arrived, lozenge is poor but has the lion. So this is quite a rare pattern.
Cheers Mike

More common in purple slag, this little vase maybe related to this registration but being in Pearline is unusual as Pearline started around 1889. My folks have a large collection of this type of glass but never seen this in primrose Pearline before.

The registered design includes many patterns but the jug and vase just have a few. It’s a rare registration.

That's beautiful.  Exquisite model design isn't it?
