Large splash vase, neodymium? Unusual
« on: September 25, 2020, 11:05:21 PM »
I bought this unusual vase today. I can only describe it as a splash vase. The violet purple colour reminds me of alexandrite glass. As you can see from the picture it looks more blue. It seems the flash of the camera changes the colour. It measures about 20 cm high maximum, about 26 cm maximum across the top. When you tap it, it rings beautifully. I has quite a lot of wear on the base, so has some age. I wonder if it's 1960s or 1970s. The base is ground flat. There are no maker's marks.

Any ideas for who made it? Thanks in advance.

Anton
