Victorian? Amethyst Glass Dog

Can anyone ID this please. I've seen the same one in blue listed as Thomas Kidd & Sons but I've also seen it in black but I can't find that link anymore.  Again, any help would be appreciated.

The current thinking is that these were made in the northeast, as one is known in purple malachite which is specific to that region, as far as we know
