Stuart Crystal Ashtray.
« on: October 28, 2020, 01:51:30 PM »
This design is shown in the 1960's Stuart catalogue available on the Glass Queries Gallery P.79. No. 29474, although the engraving goes in the opposite direction. It does seem a bit large for an ashtray at nearly 8" and weighing over 2lbs. but it does have the recesses for cigarettes. It has an etched mark which I've tried to show in photo three.

A good size for cigars - or are the indents too small?  :)

No, just right for cigars but very deep and heavy.
