Topic: A tall and heave vase Scandinavian?

I have got this strange looking vase (white glass cased in crystal clear, 14" tall, vase small open from the top, and in such a flat shape and heave ~2.3kg). Could anyone help me to identify this? Thanks in advance.

I think it's possible that might be Chinese.

I had a blue cased version but with the similar thick white interior.
I think they were around about 10 yrs ago ish.

Hi There, could you add a few photos for me to compare yours? This vase has a polished bottom with a dimple, looking like from the Whitefriars. The Chinese glass normally does not polish the bottom at all, which we all know. Thanks.

I think at the time I hadn't known how to add photographs but here is the question about mine - back in 2008 so 12 years ago :0  so I wasn't that far out on memory

Mine also had a polished pontil mark and some subtle bubble in it.  The white was exactly like yours as well - very thick layer.

Seen regularly in TKMaxx a few years ago. Chinese as M says. They have been improving and improving, roughly ground pontil marks are seen less frequently, and properly finished off pieces are found now.
They imported a lot of Polish glass masters to help teach the workers.
