Hi Mandy, welcome to the Board.

Gary is correct. But there is a bit of a complexity due to differing owners of the company and "purists" (like me :D) tend to jump in with such as:
There were two periods of "Vasart":
1) Ysart Brothers Glass (trade name Vasart) 1946-1956.
2) Vasart Ltd 1956 -1964
Then from 1965 the company was renamed Strathearn

Your weight could be from either Vasart Ltd or possibly very early Strathearn.
But I favour Vasart Ltd as many similar weights carry a black and silver label for that period.
