Crystal Bowl ID
« on: December 08, 2020, 04:51:02 PM »
This is my 7th attempt.  :o Please forgive me if one of them actually made it and didn't tell me...
I have a crystal bowl with an alternating star/blank checkerboard pattern. The bowl is 9" across, 5" high. It is heavy (unweighed) and thick. The photos look speckled, the bowl is pristine. It has a beveled edge, which looks like a seam in the photos - it is not a seam.
Any help IDing the maker, where else to look, anything! is appreciated. I have looked at thousands of bowls, none come close. I think it is vintage, it might not be. It can't possibly be so rare as to be unfindable but I can't find it. I've used google images, searched maker sites, searched crystal sites, searched forums, searched facebook groups.  And now I've tried to post here repeatedly, making the photos lower res each time and eliminating photos. I'm afraid that at this point the pictures will be useless, but I'm desperate.
Thanks for looking, and for any help at all.

Welcome to the board. Your pictures are fine at this size. A base shot would be good too

Thank you. A base shot is one of the ones that wouldn't go up. I'll try to attach it now.
