Rocks/Tumbler/Old Fashioned Glasses Identification Help
« on: January 04, 2021, 05:30:59 PM »
I was hoping to find more information on these glasses. I'm pretty certain there is very little value or collectability, but I always worry about replacing because there is deep sentimental value.

The first two pictures come from a set of 8. The 4 Single Old Fashioned glasses nest inside the 4 larger DOF glasses. The offset circle on the bottom makes me think these are mass produced pressed glass patterns but they are very nice quality in the hand.

The second pattern is from a set of two. They are heavy and the sharp points makes me think it is actually hand cut.

Any information or clues or directions for further investigation are welcome.

Hi Steve and welcome to the board.

Can you repost the third photo into a new topic please as these are clearly not from the same stable at all, and possibly not even the same country.  We always ask for one item per topic so we can move topics around once an ID is found, so having multiple items in the same topic causes us problems (and extra work) and has the potential to get confusing as to which item is being referred to. See also our help forum topic here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,28213.0.html.

Your images are also way too small to see properly and many folks here do not like visiting external site links, plus we know from experience that images hosted elsewhere can disappear over time rendering the topic valueless. You should be able to add images up to around 700px along the longer edge that still come in under our size limits. We have a help topic for images here
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34093.0.html but if you get totally stuck please feel free to email copies of your images to me and I'll resize and add them for you. support AT glassmessages.com will reach me (close up the spaces and change AT to @)
