Topic: Henry Greener? Uranium Creamer.

I've looked everywhere and only found a couple of creamers online with similarities to this, attributed to Greener but with no provenance. It has no mark or RD number. The foot looks vaguely Biedermeier style and is similar to ones I've seen on Greener vases, the handle is sturdy to say the least. Height is 5".

If this is chunky I think it maybe more likely that this is from the Manchester area than north east. The foot looks to thick at the edge for a North east piece. If it is a Mancunian unmarked piece it will be difficult to attribute.
My folks collected loads of North east Victorian Creamers and this isn’t familiar.
I’ve bought and sold a few like this just so I could have a look at them and very rarely managed to identify them.

The pattern looks late 1850s but if it is relatively light it would be later than this. I can't see a match in my various catalogue images. If it's from this period it could also be from any number of manufacturers in the Midlands, as well as the northwest.

Thanks Mike and Neil, here is a photo of the base. It is a chunky piece and weighs 375gms./12oz. I'll keep looking.

It does bear a resemblance to one on Neil's website in the Derbyshire brothers 1870-72 section. Same rim shape, similar scalloped foot and diamond design? (difficult to see).The handle is not dissimilar although a lot thicker.

I thought I'd bump this as I'm now leaning towards it being early Sowerby, but that's just a hunch.
