Is this large controlled  bubble vase whitefriars? It measures 10 inches tall diameter 7.25 inches base 4.75 inches and it weighs 1.59kg any opinions would be appreciated.[/img]

Hi Mick, I think it might be. I just sold one similar with optic vertical lines which I think might have been Whitefriars but have only seen the ones with optic horizontal lines attributed to Whitefriars so far.

We had a member here who did quite an extensive blogspot on whitefriars.

I am not convinced this vase is a wfs colour, but I don't know them all off by heart.

The size and regular lines of the bubbles don't look typically Whitefriars, and I have doubts about the base/pontil too but I could be wrong.
It could be European but I can't be specific.
